Infrared at Zion Canyon National Park seemed like an intriguing idea, but in practice it proved difficult and not entirely satisfactory. With infrared, you have many less tones to work with. In Zion Canyon, it was difficult to differentiate the foliage from the canyon walls. Overly dark skies were an additional problem. Here are some samples from Zion, starting near the far end of the canyon and working toward the entrance:
