Storm clearing weather often provides excellent opportunities to the intrepid landscape photographer, providing, as it often does, dramatic clouds, rising mists, and perhaps even rainbows or snow dusting of trees. Few places on the northcoast that provide a better vantage point to grab shots in storm clearing weather as Redwood Creek Overlook in Redwood National Park, off Bald Hills Road at 2,100 feet in elevation. Here are some shots taken during the last month or so after various storms, some fierce and unrelenting, had passed through:
