Storm clearing weather is often the best time for landscape photography, although, per usual, there are no guarantees that the light will be perfect. Sometimes there’s too many clouds. Sometimes there’s two few clouds. If the storm was a bit on the warm side, you might get haze. Last winter I spent an afternoon at Patrick’s Point after a minor storm had rolled through. Patrick’s Point State Park is north of Trinidad, California and south of Big Lagoon:
