Bryce Canyon in mid-Autumn 2: Fishing in Bryce Canyon

Photographing the “amphitheater” section of Bryce Canyon with a fisheye lens is perhaps not the very best idea, but it is a confined space and it can be fun to try to capture it with the widest focal length available for ILCs. On the particular afternoon in November that I was at Bryce Canyon, the skies were mostly cloudy, which had the advantage of equalizing the light, but the disadvantage of flattening the colors and making the sky a bright yet largely opaque mass of gray and white and blue.
