Land of Dunes and Dozing Bears

Along the western Michigan coast along the lake of the same name one finds several long sandy bluffs rising over 500 feet above the water. Here is the land of dunes and dozing bears, more commonly known as Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore, which in these parts passes for a National Park (it's run by the national park service). I had a chance to visit the park in late autumn and here are images chronicling that sojourn:
