Fall Color Report 4: Northern California Interior

Fall color is at peak in much of interior northern California, especially in the 2,000 to 3,500 elevation terrain. Let’s glance at some places. Photos are from last weekend, October 22 and 23, 2016.

1. Lassen National Park

At Lassen, which is 5,600’+, we’re mostly past peak. Here’s a shot of Manzanita Lake:
