Humboldt Bay Evening AU15-127

Fields Landing is a small town on the banks of Humboldt Bay, just south of Eureka. The town was founded by Waterman Field, who established the modest hamlet in 1862. It’s a small community with a boat yard and a couple of boat ramps, and several streets of residential homes. There’s some nice coastal scenery in the town, from the boat ramps to a stretch of land (on the south side of town) bordering a bird refuge.
