Colorado National Monument

Spent the early part of the morning at Colorado National Monument, a Utah-like park looming above Fruita, Colorado. This is typical Utah scenery that has managed to sneak across the border and ensconced itself above the valley in which Fruita and Grand Junction find their home. Like all Utah-like scenery, it is best photographed in the warm glow of the “magic hour,” when the sun flirts with the horizon.
