Lassen in Spring 2: Sulphur Works

Sulphur Works is a hydrothermal area near the center of the ancient Brokeoff Volcano. It is the most accessible hydrothermal area in the Lassen Volcanic National Park, being right along the main drive (Route 89) through the park, south of Mount Lassen:

Brokeoff Mountain, here seen from Bumphass Hell trailhead parking lot, rises to the west of Sulphur Works:
