In the Aviary

A few weeks back I spent an afternoon at Sequoia Park Zoo’s aviary. There’s a number of exotic birds within its confines, including golden pheasants, scarlet ibises, and Nicobar pigeons, among others. The newest birds in the aviary are a pair of whistling ducks:
